Version v1 · Last updated 11 October 2026
In plain words: we keep as little about you as possible. We store your email, display name and edits so the wiki can work. We do not use ads or trackers, and we do not sell or share your data. You can download or delete your data yourself at any time on the My account page.
This policy is written to follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018). Where the two differ, we apply the rule that protects you more.
PURSUITCORE Wiki (community edition) is a non-commercial fan project run by volunteers (“the Operators”). For privacy matters, contact: the staff through the PURSUITCORE Discord server. We also use this channel as the point of contact for data protection requests.
| Data | Why | Legal basis (GDPR / LGPD) |
|---|---|---|
| Email address, display name, password (stored only as a one-way hash) | Create and secure your account; let you log in | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) / performance of a contract (Art. 7, V) |
| Your edits, edit summaries, uploaded files and the time they were made | Run the wiki, show page history, give credit, undo vandalism | Contract and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b),(f)) / Art. 7, V and IX |
| Session data: IP address, browser, approximate country, session time | Keep your login safe and prevent abuse | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) / Art. 7, IX |
| Your confirmation of these terms (version and date) | Prove that you accepted the terms | Legal obligation and legitimate interests / Art. 7, II and IX |
| Anonymous visit counters (no personal data) | Show how many people visit | Not personal data |
We do not ask for your real name, phone, address, date of birth or any sensitive data (special-category / “dados sensíveis”). Please do not post such data on the wiki.
We only use what is strictly necessary: a secure session cookie (so you stay logged in, up to 30 days) and small items in your browser storage to remember your light/dark choice, tips you dismissed, and unsaved edit drafts. Because they are strictly necessary, no cookie banner is required. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Wiki edits are public by design. Your display name, the content you wrote, edit summaries and upload names appear in page histories and recent changes, and anyone can copy them under the wiki's open license. Choose a display name that does not reveal who you are. Your email is never shown.
We do not sell or rent data. Data is processed on a server operated by the Operators, located in Brazil. We may disclose data only if the law requires it (for example, a valid court order) or to protect the wiki from abuse. If data is ever transferred outside the EU/EEA or Brazil, we will do it only with a valid safeguard (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by GDPR Chapter V and LGPD Art. 33.
Under GDPR (Arts. 15–22) and LGPD (Art. 18) you can: access your data, correct it, delete it, port it (get a copy in a common format), restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, request information about who we share data with, and complain to the authority in your country (in Brazil, the ANPD; in the EU, your national data protection authority).
Use the My account page to download or delete your data instantly. For anything else, write to the staff through the PURSUITCORE Discord server. We will answer within one month (GDPR) / as soon as possible and within the legal deadline (LGPD).
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Younger people can read the wiki without an account. If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe this happened, contact us.
Passwords are hashed, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and write actions are checked on the server. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law (GDPR Arts. 33–34, LGPD Art. 48).
We do not use profiling or automated decisions that have legal effects on you. Simple automatic limits (for example, a daily edit limit for brand-new accounts) exist only to prevent abuse.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where required, ask you to accept it again.
