Blankstare is a Terminator in PURSUITCORE. He can be purchased for 800 points at the Prize Corner. Blankstare must protect his totems while also dealing damage to the Users to fill up his EXP bar, with the goal of reaching his powerful Demon Form.

Appearanceedit

Blankstare is a Pasta, assumedly of Crafter, having tan skin, brown hair, and a full beard (also brown), wearing a short sleeve green shirt, a belt with a silver buckle, navy blue jeans with brown kneepads and brown shoes; the distinct difference being his glowing white eyes.

He is also covered in some undescribed black substance, most noticeably on his face, neck, and hands, potentially affecting them as his fingers have shaped into non-blocky claws to swipe with.

In his Demon Form, he grows twice his original size. The substance dribbles from his mouth, his beard unkempt; his torso completely malformed, now bursting open and revealing his spine and ribs, two more spikes piercing the back of his shoulders as well, his claws growing longer and his legs drenched in the black.

"Blankstare can gain EXP actively through dealing damage, or passively via totems. When transmute is used at maximum EXP, Blankstare will transform into Demon Form. Maximum EXP is 100."

Gazing Swipe adds 2.5 EXP when landed.
Totems adds 0.5 EXP per second.
Siphon adds 0.5 EXP per second, and 2.5 EXP per hit.

Siphon

Key: QType: ActiveCooldown: 14 seconds (miss) / 21 seconds (hit)

"Grabs the User it hits, and forces them to play a minigame to escape. You drop the user when they complete the minigame or if they get stunned. Deals 1 damage per second and 5 damage every click. You cannot attack for 2 seconds after exiting siphon."

Siphon adds 0.5 EXP per second and 2.5 EXP per hit to Demon form's meter.
Siphon makes Blankstare Invulnerable for 1 second on use, and grants a large lunge where Blankstare can fully turn.
Grabbed Users must play a timing minigame where they must click a button or press "space" when a green bar reaches a yellow zone in the middle. Grabbed Users are freed after 12 successful clicks.
- If the green bar goes past the yellow zone, it will bounce back on the other side. This repeats if you don't do anything.
- Each successful timing will make the green bar faster, and the speed will be reset if missed.
You can prematurely end Siphon by activating it again when not hitting the User. This will not result in a stun, as opposed to the User completing the minigame.
Siphon on successful use will shorten the cooldown of Gazing Swipe from 1.3 seconds to 0.8 seconds until the User escapes.
Users grabbed by Siphon will be automatically released if they are somehow 20 or more studs away from Blankstare.
If Siphon ends for any reason, Gazing Swipe will be placed on a 2 second cooldown.
Blankstare cannot jump during Siphon and is forced to walk.

If the green bar goes past the yellow zone, it will bounce back on the other side. This repeats if you don't do anything.

Spectator

Key: RType: ActiveCooldown: 15 seconds

"Become invisible for 15 seconds and highlight the survivors for 2 seconds, during this time you get a +30 speed boost. You can manually end spectate by pressing the button while its still active. You cannot attack for 0.5 seconds after exiting spectator. While spectate is active, you can teleport to any of your active totems. Doing so will place Blankstare on top of the selected totem, and has 1 second of end lag."

Spectator has a brief windup where Blankstare is locked in place.
A global sound cue plays on entering and exiting Spectator.
During Spectator, Blankstare's vision is darkened by a dense fog which only Blankstare can see. The fog makes it very difficult to see more than a few studs away from him.
Manually exiting Spectator puts all abilities on cooldown for 2 seconds. Teleporting to a totem freezes Blankstare for 0.5 seconds while putting all abilities on cooldown for 1 second.

Transmute

Key: EType: ActiveCooldown: 20 seconds

"Construct a totem in front of you. Each totem adds 0.5 EXP to your EXP bar per second. When this move is used at maximum EXP, Blankstare will transform into Demon Form."

The animation to construct a totem takes ~3s. Blankstare is not Invulnerable during this, but he can still jump.
If a totem is destroyed, Transmute will be put on a 5 second cooldown.
Totems have HP that you can see at all times, and take 5 damage per second while a player holds F next to a totem. Once a totem reaches 0 HP, it is destroyed.
- Totem HP starts at 25, each active User adds 6 HP for a maximum of 67 HP.
- Totems cannot be damaged by downed Users.
- Totems are invincible for 5 seconds after construction.
- When Blankstare transforms, all totems have their base HP increased, are fully healed, and are briefly highlighted for everyone to see. Totem health in Demon form starts at 50 HP, each active User adds 6 HP for a maximum of 92 HP.
Totems have collision, and thus can be ran into or stood on.

Totem HP starts at 25, each active User adds 6 HP for a maximum of 67 HP.
Totems cannot be damaged by downed Users.
Totems are invincible for 5 seconds after construction.

Upon activation, Blankstare is slowed down to 30 walkspeed until the ability ends.
- Blankstare will levitate in the air if the ability is used in mid-air.
A radius appears on Blankstare's cursor upon use. Any User within the radius will begin to be gradually dealt 1.5 damage. Blankstare will also gradually gain EXP for damaging Users with this ability. Totems will also be able to be targetted if they're in the radius.
- This won't be able to kill any Users.
Using the ability again will trigger Entity Burst, which deals damage to all Users in the radius after a brief windup.
- He still has to keep said Users in the radius to trigger Entity Burst's damage.
- Entity Burst CAN confirm kills.
Triggering Entity Burst on a totem will cause it to explode, dealing damage to any Users near the affected totem.
The ability will be cancelled if Blankstare is stunned while it is in use.
This ability will replace Siphon.

Blankstare will levitate in the air if the ability is used in mid-air.

Tipsedit

Siphon is best used against Users who have strayed too far from their team or have low enough health to pick off, as being stunned without a plan can result in the target regrouping and safely escaping.
If you ever find yourself siphoning a user and have a Stunner (i.e. a Dante), try to dodge their stuns by moving/swerving unpredictably, timing going down a ledge, or ending siphon early to avoid the stun.
- However, because of the slowness you get while siphoning a User, you are mostly guaranteed to get stunned. Even when you cancel Siphon, you will still get slowed down, so don't expect to Siphon a User while not getting stunned.
Spam M1 to catch up to Users since it has no slowdown. (NOTE: This makes you very predictable if you are spamming in a straight line.)
Totems aren't everything; while they boost EXP gain and later on Siphon's health drain, you don't entirely need them to effectively take down Users.
- Try to balance keeping your totems stable alongside applying pressure to Users and be ready to change your priorities depending on the situation.
- Totems can be used to entice Users into destroying them, allowing you to attack their teammates with less interference or going straight to them if they become reckless and continuously go to them.
If you know a totem is about to be destroyed, you can try to place a new one before that happens in order to avoid the 5 second penalty.
Just becaue your Demon form ended, doesn't mean you shouldn't place totems, they are still reliable because:
- Totems can distract Users from helping their team, meaning Users will not interfere with your chase.
- You can easily relocate yourself and start a chase when teleporting to a totem, especially when Users are trying to mine the totem.
