Part of a rare, mostly undocumented offshoot of the lolcat species. This species of lolcat live communally and are quite fragile, known to explode under any amount of pressure.

The Kit, formerly known conjecturally as Impossible Cat, is a User in PURSUITCORE. They are obtained through the IWBTU Gaiden badge. Although they are incredibly fragile and have much less HP compared to other Users, he possesses the best vertical mobility in the game and has rather short ability cooldowns.

Appearanceedit

The Kit is a short sky blue cat, having a cat kaomoji for his face (´・ω・`). They have short ears with no arms or legs, just disembodied circular hands and feet. They wear the Legendary Cape, which a pinkish-red cape that enables their double jump, and wield a Very Small Gun -- or just V.S.G. for short -- in their right hand. He's noticeably unaffected by lighting and their movement is rather chippy.

The Kit's double jump cooldown is separate from normal jump cooldown and refreshes the moment he touches the ground.

Fragile

Type: Passive

"Kit only has 15 HP, in addition they cannot be downed, dying instantly upon being hit once. Temporary damage will also kill them."

The Kit cannot be revived.
The Kit gets no HP buffs from LMS or IWBTU.
- They can, however, receive the HP buff from Versus, raising their health to 22HP.

Precise

In the upcoming Strife: Act 2 update, when grabbed by Sunstream The Kit's active abilities will be automatically aimed towards nearest Terminator for the duration of carry.

Pistol

Key: F (Alternatively M1)Type: ActiveCooldown: 0.1 seconds

"Fire a bullet from your gun, this bullet travels in the direction you are facing and sets terminator cooldowns to 0.5 when hit."

Bullets are projectiles that travel in straight line from the direction The Kit is facing, and instantly disappear the moment they bump into something, be it an object or Terminator.
- In the upcoming Strife: Act 2 update, there will be a limit of only 5 pellets at a time. The ability will also be able to be held like Roflpix' Movement Opportunity.
Each bullet puts all of the Terminator's moves on a 0.5s cooldown if not already on cooldown.
Bullets bypass any and all iframes, and don't trigger DotX' FAKER COUNTER.
Bullets phase through zombies.

Charge Up

Key: QType: ActiveCooldown: 20 seconds

"Briefly charge up a powerful shot. Shooting your gun unleashes this shot, stunning for 2 seconds on hit."

The shot takes 1 second to charge, putting both abilities on a cooldown as it does, and is released by using Pistol ability via F/M1.
You can manually cancel Charge Up, putting it on a 3 second cooldown. Pistol will stay available.
The charged shot is fired in the direction The Kit is facing, being the same projectile as Pistol's pellets that disappear on contact with something solid.
- Being registered as a stun, charged shot, however, doesn't bypass stun resistance iframes and triggers counters.
On hit, stuns the Terminator for 2 seconds with some knockback.
Charged shot can't kill zombies either, just passing through them.

Tipsedit

Utmost important tip: Don't get hit; The Kit is the most fragile User in the game, having only 15 HP and a passive that lets him die to Zombies and temporary damage, and unable to be revived.
- Due to having 15 HP, you can potentially tank Captain Limewire's Limelock or PartyPwny's Kick once, but your survival afterwards is under a big question.
The Kit's Legendary Cape allows him to perform a double jump, making him able to cross larger gaps and reach places that no other User nor Terminator could. Use the double jump to your advantage as much as you can.
- The Kit's double jump has virtually no cooldown as it refreshes the moment you touch the ground. You can use it to hop down from something and instantly get back up without jumping first, scale small distances without wasting jump cooldown and extend your airtime on jump-pad.
The Kit is the smallest User in the game. Use your size to your advantage, as you can hide behind structures easier if needed and can break line of sight easier.
The "Precise" passive makes The Kit's turning instantenous, allowing you to snap to a direction immideately. You can use it when chased to try and stun the Terminator. Do be mindful, they can just jump over.
- Said snappy turning also makes your movement slightly less predictable. Use it in tight situations to best of your ability.
The Kit has a hidden "passive" that makes them unable to grant ANY time when killed unless you amass 30 and above danger time (time spent in chase).
- While it doesn't benefit you directly in any way, you can at very least rest easy knowing you died with no benefit to your killer if you happened to not trigger the passive.
You can help out your team by using your charged shot, but doing so may get you focused and killed. Also be mindful leaving a charged up bullet in your gun, as it makes a constant noise that can let the Terminator know where you are.
When using either of your active abilities, don't forget about the fact the shots come from where you're facing. Constantly change your position to aim and don't forget to occasionally jump to land a higher shot.
- Also remember about the fact that both projectiles' models are a hitbox itself, which makes map environment (namely traffic cones on Pursuit Kart) occasionally "eat" your shots.
When playing against Blankstare, it may be worth using your Pistol while he is siphoning another User to prevent him from dealing any damage due to rendering M1 attack unavailable as long as they're shot, allowing the grabbed User to complete the minigame or another User to stun Blankstare with less HP being lost or even for free.
In the case a fellow User was hit with an ability that left the Terminator with endlag (namely DotX' HERE I COME and PartyPwny’s PARTY HARD or Kick) it's a good idea to try and use your Pistol to gun the Terminator down to prevent them from being hit by an M1 shortly after.
Due to your Pistol pellets resetting cooldowns each time they land, you can try to use it when attempting to juke the Terminator, as they're more likely to simply spam their M1 abilities because of you being The Kit.
Pester the Terminators. The Kit's role is to constantly bother the Terminator from a safer distance. His normal pellets set cooldowns to 0,5 seconds each time they're landed, and the charged shot is a solid stun that can end a chase if landed unpredictably.
- If you can't pester the Terminators, you can alternatively resort to "objective rushing" and refuel Hyperlink Generators with your superb mobility. But please do NOT just rush generators entire round; you're extremely useful as a User when your abilities land.
Always remain on guard. The Kit is a very often (and justified) target for Terminators. Be ready to be focused out when round starts, regardless of who Terminator is.
If a Terminator deliberately leaves you for Last User Standing, exploit it to best of your ability as they're less likely to go after you. Pester them with your shots and protect your teammates while Terminator ignores you.
- Zombies are likely to ignore that however and target you out. Be mindful.
You're generally adviced to stick closer to teammates that can prevent you from being focused in case it happens, like Vinnie.
The Kit's performance greatly depends on maps. Maps such as New World, Minefield and Resort Harena are good for The Kit, as they have looping spots or skips that only The Kit can access.
- On contrary, maps like Lost Mall and Silent Pwnyville offer much less opportunities. Not every map is accustomed to The Kit.
As The Kit, you are adviced to avoid direct confrontations and play carefully. Try to stick to map areas which you can use for double jumps.
- Of course, if you're confident you can go out of your way and try to pester the Terminator directly. Just remember that you'd hold more value being alive than dead shortly after doing so.
Keep an eye on which Users on your team are dead, if they turn into a Zombie then they could sneak up on you and kill you.
- Remember. The Kit can't kill the Zombies.
Be mindful of Terminators like DotX and Blankstare, as their respective indicator abilities make them invisible for duration and can be used to sneak up on you.
Always keep in mind who you're up against. Here are more basic tips on how to play around Terminators:
- PartyPwny: Due to her lacking any vertical mobility and relying on close quarters to dish out damage, it's wiser to keep your distance as much as possible. While she may seem easy to escape, always be ready for "PARTY HARD", as it's singular wall slam will decimate you; knowledgeable PartyPwnies may also try to "snipe" you with it, so don't stand still.
- DotX: Always keep an eye on them, and maintain high ground. DotX is faster than other Terminators, has a short M1 attack cooldown and has "HERE I COME" ability that can kill you with mere graze, coupled with their "FAKER COUNTER" that can instantly kill you if you're too reckless with your charged shots.
- Blankstare: Remain as vigilant as with DotX, and maintain distance as they lack endlag. His "Spectator" ability has no movement endlag and a rather missable sound cue on reveal. If you're confident they're not stalking you, you may try to get rid of a Totem but always be on guard, as they can teleport to it. In Demon form, absolutely preserve your high ground and don't even think about getting close. In a scenario where you are chased, never ever run in a straight line so you can avoid their "swingy" M1 or "Transmute".
- Sweep: Sweep is deceptively slow, but their lack of endlag on M1 coupled with their lunge can make up for it. A Sweep will always try to lock out your double jump spots with their "Implant" mines, forcing you to either evade them or defuse the mines; remember that the timer ticks down the faster you go, so you may be forced to waste your double jump or walk past. Don't get too comfortable with your spots either, as Sweep with their height alone can likely reach you.
  - When playing against Sweep, remember about the specifics of their hurtbox, which is located in their torso and head. This requires The Kit to additionally jump (or stand on something) to land their abilities. Don't try to shoot at their legs. It won't work.
- Captain Limewire: At the start of the round, depending on the map, be ready for "Torrential Leap" and be absolutely ready for them to try and (likely succeed to) murder you right away. Captain Limewire has two ranged abilities, having either of which landed on you likely guaranteeing death. His "Limelock" is a hitscan ability that puts a 10 second highlight on you, which you absolutely don't want to allow as they'll likely hunt you out. In the scenario "The Limewire" pulls you, all you can do is pray he's stunned or fails the QTE, because otherwise you're gone. You, however, can dodge it with proper movement.
  - He's also as tall as Sweep (if not taller), so careful with spots.
- Jack Noir: While your first priority is to slip away from Terminator's gaze when round starts, do NOT go very far with him as the Terminator, as his "Omnipotence" targets the furthest User. In general encounters maintain distance at all costs and don't stand in positions that can get you pulled with "Eldritch Tentacles" or murdered with "Behead", and avoid running in straight line if chased. Your most unwanted ability to go against is "The Red Miles", which you have slightly more chances of surviving if you're not close around Jack himself.
  - While "The Red Miles" can be universally dodged by running in circles, The Kit's Precise passive makes them unable to run in a perfect circle, so try to mix it up.
The Kit is a decent pick for "Super BLOCKBOY World" gamemode. His movement is superb and allows better juking, and his small sizes also allow you to hide easier if you intend to hide.
- Do be mindful, however, that Kit will die to BLOCKBOY's slam regardless when it lands. Additionally, remember that The Kit's model is made of neon material, making him unaffected by lighting and stand out in dark spots.
The Kit is not expected to survive, and is intentionally challenging to play as. Do not fret if you fail to perform well.
- It's adviced you first learn game's mechanics, movesets and map layouts before trying The Kit for better experience.
